More of an infomercial than a text

This book is well organized, but severely lacking in many ways. I used it last year when teaching for PT school, and some of my colleagues used it in their classes as well. After one semester of use, we all decided to make a switch. The book reads far more like an infomercial than it does a text which is supposed to give an objective look at the modality in question. My students noticed the exact same thing, and stated openly that the book was trying to push the use of a particular modality, even while at the same time not showing any evidence in support. We switched to the Cameron text and are supplementing that with articles, and specific chapters from some other books such as the Belanger.

I love this book! Everything is explained clearly and logically. This book helped me a lot while preparing for NPTE exam. It gives the idea of how to use and integrate different types of modalities and describes very well the inflammation process. Must have this book!
