This book met my expectation in so many ways. To name a few, I am battling generational problems, paying for what I did not buy.
Ancestral powers and strongman in the family that do not want to let go.
This book is an eye opening for anyone who is going thru serious warfare that baffles one. There are so many prayers that really hit the nail. I thank God that I purchased this book.

About the Author
Matthew Flickstein is a psychotherapist, meditation teacher, and the founder of The Forest Way Insight Meditation Center in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. In more than twenty years of leading personal development workshops, he has trained almost 15,000 people across the US, including other teachers.

Bhante Gunaratana was ordained at the age of twelve as a Buddhist monk in Sri Lanka, earned his PhD in philosophy from The American University, and has led meditation retreats, taught Buddhism, and lectured widely throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Bhante Henepola Gunaratana is the president of the Bhavana Society in High View, West Virginia, where he lives.

Extremely disappointing

I found this book to be very disappointing, especially since I absolutely loved this author's other book, "The Meditator's Atlas." (Which I highly recommend.)

The meditations talked about here are the same type of pop-psychology meditations that one finds in many other books. The "visualize yourself in a room talking with someone who's hurt you" type of thing.

This book recommends using Buddhist meditation to achieve your goals: Financial goals, career goals, etc. which seems to me to be the exact opposite of what Buddhism is about.

Perhaps this is a good book on meditation, but it's not a book about Buddhist meditation, except for the fact that it uses some techniques originally rooted it Buddhism.

A workbook to help tame your ox

“The Meditator's Workbook: A Journey To The Center” by Matthew Flickstein is a workbook, and to get the most out of it, one should not only read it, but do the meditations and exercises provided throughout the text. Doing this book, rather than just reading it, helps live life more fully, relieve stress and grief, and find personal inner-peace and well being. Obviously, these things can be said for meditation in general, regardless the type one practices or the source one learns from. But this book focuses on assisting one with these and more through the guided practice of meditation.

The book uses the Ten Oxherding Pictures as a base for the lessons along one's journey. As Flickstein states, “the ox symbolizes your true nature, the reality that lies beyond your conditioned and transitory existence . 'Herding the wild ox' is a metaphor for the progressive stages of realization that you will encounter during your quest for enlightenment.” I'll admit, it was this ox herding focus that drew me to purchasing the book. I've always liked these pictures, and their meaning, since learning about them from a friend as we gazed upon a series of pictures on the outside of a temple in Korea.

Using the pictures as a framework to organize the lessons, Flickstein guides the reader through a journey of finding oneself through a series of meditations. Accompanying these meditations, are questions to help you think about things that will help you find peace within yourself as well as figure out where you really want to go. There are also blank pages where you are encouraged to journal about the things you are thinking and meditating about.

There are some meditations and sections of this book that might not be as relevant to all readers, and some parts that some might not think are relevant until actually meditating on and pondering the questions the author poses. Throughout all of the exercises and meditations, one can learn about the self and become more mindful, which is the beginning to “enlightenment” or self-discovery. I'm not sure if we ever really become enlightened, but I do think we can discover more about ourselves and live happier more positive lives, and doing this book can help you with that.

Recommended to all who want to look within themselves a little deeper through meditation and self-discovery. Take this journey to help tame your ox.

Very Enjoyable Series

Since I bought and read all four volumes, I'll review the series as a whole:
I really loved reading Monster Hunter Orage. It was told in a very Hiro Mashima way if you're familiar with his style, this is very obviously his work. The four main characters are very lovable, and if you're looking for a quick read manga series in the world of a great game this is perfect. This is a typical shounen action manga, and even if it wasn't a deep story, I thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10 would recommend to any Monster Hunter fan.
For me, the best part of this series were Hiro Mashima's afterward notes and the extras, especially the ones featured at the end of volume 4.

It is OK. There are better resources

When this book originally came out, there were not great Grammar books for the GMAT and this was the best one (the only one too). It no longer is, however. If it is the only grammar resource you can find (there are some free ones), I would recommend it. As such, experimental practice is reserved for preclinical animal models including the mouse and dog.

These animal models have been essential in developing transplant protocols, including preclinical testing of conditioning regimens, treatment of GVHD, and understanding the pathology of GVHD as well as the immunological mechanisms of GVHD and GVL effect. However, recent research has revealed significant species differences between humans and animal models that must be considered when relating animal model studies to clinical allogeneic HSCT scenarios.

I love stories of triumph and I love to see the good guys win. This book chronicles the journey of a successful entrepreneur BUT, it also outlines the steps for success that can be replicated by all who are seeking the process of success. The struggles are universal. We can all relate to. It is an easy read. I finished it in two days in my spare time, but keep referring back to it as I implement the steps in the process. Practical and Relevant I recommend this book for all small business owners or students.
I got to meet Dr. Corey and he has a genuine love to care for all people.

This book is non-fiction and should be taken seriously. Contained within the Authorized King James version of the Bible and the Hebrew and Greek that it was translated from is a calendar to the end of time. Slightly out of sight to the non-believer and the skeptic, modern day events are recorded in the plain text of the Bible in each chapter by the year. The Bible is a calendar of events and it is counting down. In 2009 we entered into the last 22 years of time. The Mayan Calendar was a fake or at least what we were told about it was. It may have been a calendar that ended in 2012 but that is all it was. People made up stories about what they thought it might mean and they were wrong. The Bible Countdown Calendar comes from the original book that governs our planet. The source of all existence. The Bible. This is not a guessing game. The calendar is governed by numbers. If you can do simple math and are able to read, then you can search out these events for yourself. This book teaches you how to search for these events in history yourself and contains an extra set of charts for you to cut out and use for your own studies. I will lightly touch on the math to give you a glimpse to how it works. Psalms is the 19th book in the Bible and covers the 1900’s. Psalms 1 is 1901, Palms 2, 1902 and so on. You can continue to number your Bible right on through to Psalms 130 for the year 2030. What you do is look up an event that happened in history by the year on the internet or in a history book, or maybe you remember when it happened. Next you look at the words in the chapter to see if it contains the event. I have found many events in the book of Psalms that prove this but it seemed a little vague. I needed more proof. Next I simply went to the same number of chapter in the New Testament that I was in the Old Testament (from the book of Psalms) and numbered it for the same year. The results were amazing! Sometimes the words that match the events are only written one time in the entire Bible. If you were to go one chapter to the left or to the right the story would not be there. Each chapter represents a year. The events happen in order by year. I am not just picking isolated chapters. You could pick chapters using any book. This is distinct order. The Bible cannot be changed. If you added one chapter to the Bible the calendar would be off. That is why the book of Revelation warns us not to add to or take away from this book. It is a time piece. A calendar to the end of time. There is a third part to this but I do not want to give too much away at this point. You will be amazed.

Pastor Steven M Weyerts is an ordained minister of the gospel. He pastored a church in Deer Trail CO. for approximately six years. Before that he was a youth pastor in a Baptist church until he was filled with the Holy Ghost and they kicked him out. “Get off my property! You are trespassing!” He also had a radio program once a week at a local radio station, KLDC of Denver CO, for one year. He has been asked to speak at various church events such as tent revivals, men’s breakfast, full gospel businessmen’s and even the Navajo Nation in Arizona. He is a veteran from our armed forces 82nd Airborne Division, Ft. Bragg North Carolina, a carpenter and a Wisconsin dairy farmer. In 2009 he discovered the Bible Countdown Calendar contained within the King James Bible. He then started his website timeoftheendbiblecode.com and his YouTube channel Steve Weyerts to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth. He currently resides in WI and works a full time job as a maintenance man for over one thousand units. He patiently awaits the day he can quit his day job and work full time for God.
